Streets of Love

Terms of use

Last updated 4 Nov 2026

These terms are between you and AfroEat LTD, a company in England and Wales. They cover the Streets of Love app and the site at thestreetsoflove.com. Contact info@afroeat.co.uk.

This is a plain-English draft for legal review. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified solicitor.

The service

Streets of Love is a virtual town for adults. You walk a copy of a city, talk to people who are online in that same city, and you can match and message. It is not a promise that you will meet anyone. People you see with a mask are characters, not accounts.

18+ only

You must be 18 or older. You confirm that when you give your date of birth. If we learn an account is under 18, we will close it.

Your account

Keep your login to yourself. Use a real photo of you and a name you are happy to show. You are responsible for what you send. By signing up you agree to these terms and the privacy policy, including how we use who you are interested in.

Safety and community guidelines

The street is a place for adults to talk. The fuller rules are on the safety page. In short, do not:

Meet in a public place if you ever meet in person. We do not check that someone is who they say they are.

Moderation

You can block and report from a chat. We may review reports, remove messages, and suspend or close accounts that break these terms. We do not read every message, and we do not promise to act on a report within a set time.

Your content

You keep ownership of your photos and messages. You give us permission to store and show them so the app can work: your photo on your profile, your messages to the person you sent them to. That permission ends when the content is deleted, except where we must keep a copy for a legal claim.

Ending the account

You can delete your account from Me. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we have to for a legal reason. See the privacy policy for what deletion removes.

Liability

The app is provided as it is. The town is virtual. We are not responsible for what other people say or do, online or if you choose to meet. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or any other liability that the law of England and Wales does not let us limit. Where the law allows a limit, our total liability to you for the app is limited to £100.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales decide disputes, except that you can still bring a claim in the UK court for the place where you live if consumer law gives you that right.
